Depois de ter realizado o “Dia Beatles”, no dia 9 de setembro, com o lançamento do “The Beatles: Rock Band” e o catálogo remasterizado em CD, o quarteto de Liverpool se prepara para tirar mais dinheiro de seus fãs com o lançamento de um pen drive limitado em formato de maçã (uma referência a gravadora do grupo, a Apple Corps Ltd.), que trará toda a discografia remasterizada em stereo.
Serão apenas 30 mil pen drives postos a venda, que deverão chegar às lojas no dia 7 de dezembro a £200 (cerca de R$ 580). As maçãs trarão além dos 14 discos remasterizados em stereo, todo o material gráfico dos CDS e os 13 mini documentários que acompanharam os álbuns.
O pen drive dos Beatles será compatível com PCs e Macs e terá as músicas em dois formatos de áudio FLAC (compressão sem perda) de 44.1 Khz e 24 bits; e mp3 de 320 Kbps. No site oficial do quarteto de Liverpool já é possível fazer a pré-venda.
