Brandon Flowers, vocalista do The Killers, perdeu a mãe na última quinta-feira (11). Jean Flowers tinha 64 anos e sofria de câncer no cérebro.
A banda havia cancelado apresentações que faria na Ásia e na Austrália durante o mês de janeiro, alegando “a gravidade da doença que acomete um familiar próximo”.
Brandon ainda não se pronunciou publicamente, mas jornais ao redor de todo o mundo já noticiam o ocorrido. Flowers & Cia. já haviam anunciado que após a turnê por Ásia e Austrália a banda daria uma pausa na carreira para passarem mais tempo com suas respectivas famílias.
