Nesta terça-feira (7) os Jonas Brothers lançam “Camp Rock 2” no Disney Channel. Apesar de ainda ostentarem um lugar de destaque na Disney, onde também estrelam a série “J.O.N.A.S.”, o trio formado pelos irmãos Joe, Kevin e Nick já não é mais uma unanimidade entre as adolescentes.
A popularidade dos irmãos Jonas há pouco menos de um ano era tão grande que a primeira passagem deles pelo Brasil causou um verdadeiro reboliço entre as meninas, que lotaram o estádio do Morumbi, em São Paulo, e se espremeram para vê-los visitarem o Cristo Redentor, no Rio de Janeiro.
Mas de lá pra cá a coisa mudou, alguns fatores podem explicar essa queda na popularidade dos Jonas Brothers. Separamos cinco deles:
Ascensão de Justin Bieber
A ascensão do cantor canadense Justin Bieber, de 16 anos, fez com que muitas fãs dos Jonas Brothers debandassem para o autor de “Baby”. Até a abreviação do nome, JB, que antes era usada para os Jonas Brothers, agora é designada para o Justin. Eles até já tiveram uma rusguinha no Twitter, mas vendo o tamanho do fenômeno vindo do Canadá, os Jonas Brothers até já revelaram que gostariam de gravar com Justin Bieber. Seria uma tentativa de embarcar na fama de JB?
Casamento de Kevin
No dia 19 de dezembro de 2009, Kevin Jonas se casou com Danielle Deleasa, quebrando alguns coraçõezinhos de fãs. Esse sinal de amadurecimento dos irmãos pode ter espantado algumas das seguidoras, que adoravam ostentar a castidade dos meninos, que até usavam anéis para provarem que eram virgens. Está certo que Kevin nunca foi o mais popular, mas se ele casou tão jovem, 22 anos, os outros podem seguir o mesmo caminho, para o desespero das fãs.
Projeto solo de Nick
Nick Jonas sempre foi o mais queridinho e talentoso dos Jonas Brothers. A prova disso é que ele foi o primeiro a colocar as asinhas de fora e partir para uma carreira solo, com a banda Nick Jonas and the Administration. O primeiro disco deles, “Who I AM”, foi lançado em fevereiro deste ano, com ele vieram os temores de um possível fim do Jonas Brothers, prontamente desmentido pelos irmãos. Mas quem garante que Nick não irá se cansar de carregar Joe e Kevin nas costas e partir para um voo solo?
Joe e seus namoros conturbados
Joe Jonas é o namorador dos irmãos. Por conta disso o rapaz já deixou muitas mocinhas famosas de coração partido. Algumas delas, como Taylor Swift e Demi Lovato, até possuem o mesmo público do Jonas Brothers, o que pode as ter levado a pegar birra do rapaz. No caso de Lovato a coisa foi bem preocupante, já que ele contracena com a menina em “Camp Rock 2”, além dela abrir a atual turnê dos Jonas Brothers ao redor do mundo. Agora Joe Jonas está com Ashley Greene, a Alice de “Crepúsculo”. Já imaginou se ele rompe com a moça e as fãs saga teen vampiresca se irritam com ele?
Pouco público nos shows
Um sinal da queda na popularidade dos Jonas Brothers pode ser medida através da venda de ingressos para seus shows ao redor do mundo. Recentemente eles tiveram que cancelar 16 datas de sua atual turnê por conta da pouca procura por ingressos. Aqui no Brasil mesmo eles farão apresentações em lugares menores do que no ano passado. Em São Paulo, eles vão tocar no modesto estádio do Canindé, para pouco mais de 20 mil pessoas, enquanto que em 2009 eles tocaram no Morumbi, onde cabem mais de 60 mil espectadores.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
