A MTV Brasil exibiria um debate entre os candidatos a presidência no dia 10 de agosto, mas adiou o programa para o dia 24, às 22h30.
A mudança aconteceu porque Dilma Rousseff, do PT, ainda não havia confirmado sua participação. Para se adequar à agenda da candidata, a MTV preferiu mudar a data. Já estão confirmados Plínio de Arruda Sampaio (PSOL), José Serra (PSDB) e Marina Silva (PV).
O Debate Eleições MTV 2010 terá uma plateia formada por 50 jovens e fará aos candidatos perguntas que têm a ver com o universo dessa parcela da população.
