As filmagens do filme O Hobbit começarão em março na Nova Zelândia, conforme anunciou nesta segunda-feira (7) o diretor neozelandês Peter Jackson, em entrevista a agência EFE.
Peter Jackson, que se recupera de uma recente operação de uma úlcera estomacal, declarou em comunicado que “apesar de alguns atrasos, finalmente voltamos ao trabalho e temos muita vontade de começar o projeto”.
A partir do dia 21 de março, o diretor começará a gravar o primeiro livro que antecede a saga de O Senhor dos Anéis nos estúdios Stone Street em Wellington e cenas externas em paisagens da Nova Zelândia. Peter Jackson deixou o hospital na semana passada.
O Hobbit teve suas gravações atrasadas por conta da operação de Peter Jackson. O primeiro longa deveria ter começado a ser gravado em janeiro. Escrita pelo escritor britânico J.R.R. Tolkien, o primeiro longa de O Hobbit está previsto para estrear em 2012 nos cinemas.
