Sob o tema Festival, os roteiristas do 5º Prêmio Bravo! Prime de Cultura convidaram o músico Tom Zé para três entradas no palco da festa. Primeiro artista a se apresentar, o compositor surgiu com o rosto escondido por uma meia-calça e brincou: “É o Tom Zé, não é um assalto não.” Teatral, lembrou o amigo Augusto Boal e falou sobre o nervosismo dos indicados em esperar os shows antes da premiação. “O Chico, pode ver, está nervoso. E o cantor hoje, sou eu”, debochou. Depois, já no meio da cerimônia, entregou o prêmio de melhor CD Popular a Ná Ozzeti e encerrou o evento ao lado de Jair Rodrigues e Andrea Dias em uma animada interpretação de A Banda de Chico Buarque.
