O leilão promovido pelo site “Profiles in History”, com objetos que faziam parte das gravações de “Lost”, arrecadou cerca de US$ 2 milhões durante o fim de semana, é o que conta o site “Collider.com”.
Segundo a publicação, uma conta não oficial revelou que o leilão arrecadou o dobro do que os organizadores esperavam. Antes das vendas, que aconteceram nos dias 21 e 22 de agosto, o presidente do “Profiles in History”, Joseph Maddalena, havia dito que eles estimavam arrecadar cerca de US$ 1 milhão.
Entre os itens que estavam à venda o que mais lucrou foi a Kombi da Dharma Initiative, vendida por US$ 47.500. O diário de Daniel Faraday foi arrematado por US$ 27.500.
